David founded CapitalValue performing business valuations in 2002, and he and his business partner Chris Younger formed CVA (the investment bank) in 2005 with a mission to ensure entrepreneurs get the most out of their investment of time, energy and money in their companies. Sharing similar values and a passion for helping entrepreneurs, David and Chris felt they could do a better job for entrepreneurs and have had a great time helping clients ever since.
David is a Managing Director of CVA Family Office as well as a Managing Director of CapitalValue Advisors, the most active locally-owned investment bank in Colorado. David is a Certified Business Appraiser and has completed over 700 valuations. David has 18 years of experience in dealing with business and entrepreneurial wealth issues through his investment banking and valuation practices. In particular, much of the valuation experience David possesses is in the area of wealth strategies involving estate planning and valuation discounts.
He is a graduate of THE Colorado State University and has an MBA from University of Colorado, Denver.
